Math Magic 1.0

Math Magic is a program developed several years ago as a teaching aid for math teachers. The premise of the program was to make repeative tasks such as printing out tests and teaching basic concepts in a more intuitive way. Now that we are in the comupter age much of the teaching done using computers to teach their students on LCD projectors, as opposed to just using the chalk board or whiteboard. By using this program, a student can learn various math concepts and learn at their own pace with on-screen tutorials and even print-out sample quizes. During the development of Math Magic much of the focus was approched from the teachers point-of-view and what they would need in order to make their job easier. Although this was the main focus, much of the program is catered towards students and the self-teaching approach.

Math Magic was presented to the math department of select highschools and the feedback was positive. It is still being considered for improvement and possible further releases.
